| Founded in November 2004, Anaconda is Australia's largest camping
and outdoor retailer which prides itself on inspiring, equipping and
enabling people to get outdoors and experience their own adventure.
Anaconda is for all outdoor types from hardcore adrenalin junkies to
families on holiday and the whole spectrum of people in between. With
six stores and over 250 employees in May 2007, Anaconda aims to
establish 40 stores in Australia's major cities and regional areas
within the next six to seven years. DRPR is involved in a wide range of public relations activities for Anaconda including the promotion of new store openings, the retailer's outdoor magazine Outer Edge and Anaconda Adventure Races. One of DRPR's objectives is to build strong relationships with local media as well as trade magazines to assist with the company's expansion plans. |
