BBX

BBX, founded in 1993, is the only barter company in the world to be publicly listed on a main board, the Australia Stock Exchange (ASX). There are over 5,000 BBX member businesses in Australia and New Zealand who trade their products and services with other members on a cashless basis. BBX acts as a third party which coordinates and monitors transactions. It has been expanding at a rapid pace, franchising in China and India and moving into financial services, loan facilities and real estate through initiatives such as BBX Money.

DRPR has worked with BBX since 2003 to raise the company's profile, raise awareness about the benefits of barter amongst business communities and enhance relationships with existing members. The public relations campaign also focuses on promoting BBX's constant expansion through franchising in Australia and internationally, acquisition and the opening of regional offices, as well as new branches of BBX such as the NSX-listed Property Fund.
