Jazz@5 - Jazz Music Program on FM 99.3
Jazz@5 is heard on the popular Sydney North Shore community radio station FM
99.3, every weekday evening from 5pm to 7pm.
Dennis Rutzou puts a lifetime interest in jazz to good effect by producing and
presenting the Tuesday edition of Jazz@5, which particularly concentrates on new
jazz releases with a bias towards Australian artists. As well as the musical
side, there are interviews with artists and listener giveaways of CDs and
tickets to jazz concerts.
On the last Tuesday of every month there is a section of the program called
African Jazz Connection, during which African jazz aficionado Rodney Timm
presents new releases and focuses on some of the great performers of African
jazz music.
