Waterless car washing at Cooks River Festival to help charity
Locals visiting the Cooks River Sustainability and Arts Festival this weekend, can have their cars washed without using any water, and help the Adventist Development & Relief Agency (ADRA) water project at the same time with Ecowash Mobile.

The completely waterless mobile car washing and detailing service will be washing cars at the Festival in Steel Park, Marrickville between noon and 5pm.

For every car detailed, Jason Kovan-Boss, Ecowash Franchisee, will donate ten percent to the charity to help build water wells in developing countries.

“I have decided to donate 10 percent of the proceeds of every Ecowash on the day because I believe it is important for Australians not only to be water conscious in their own country, but to also ensure that disadvantaged people in developing countries have clean drinking water,” said Kovan-Boss.

“Because the entire process is totally waterless, an Ecowash can be done anywhere- at home, work or even in a park.

“With NSW in drought and no sign of the water restrictions easing, people need to find more sustainable ways of keeping their cars clean.

“Through waterless car washing, Ecowash Mobile has saved more than 15 million litres of water since it began in August 2004,” he said.

Ecowash Mobile uses an innovative 2-in-1 wash and polish that does not use any water. The polymer compound is sprayed onto the car exterior and encapsulates surface dirt that is then removed with a soft cloth, leaving behind a protective coating to guard against the elements and harmful effects of wear and tear. The entire process is guaranteed not to scratch.

Jason will also donate 10% of the pre-paid bookings made in his area on the day to the charity. These bookings can be made for a time and place convenient for you. To book an Ecowash or for more information visit www.ecowash.com.au or call 1800 ECOWASH (1800 326927).
