Corporate Express scoops the pool at Promotional Products Awards
Business and office products supplier Corporate Express has won four awards at the Australasian Promotional Products Association Awards held recently in Melbourne.

A gold award was received in the 'Consumer Programs' category for a unique display showcase featuring RalliArt merchandise for Mitsubishi Motors. The judges commented that the initiative shown by Corporate Express was exceptional and showed enormous originality.

"Our South Australian team was able to turn around the concept in just 24 hours to meet the client's deadline. The display box showcase has become a collectable that is sort after by Mitsubishi dealers and rally fans around the country," said Ross Stevenson, General Manager Promotional Marketing, Corporate Express.

Corporate Express took out two silver awards for the 'May Gibbs Gumnut badges' that it created for Northcott Disability Services. The awards were received in the 'Non-profit or Charitable Organisation Promotion' and the 'Limited Budget (under $5.00)' categories. The badges were created by Corporate Express in NSW to raise funds for the Northcott Society which assists children with disabilities.

The judges said that the badges showed originality and creativity and were well produced for the price. "A great reproduction of May Gibbs' beautiful illustrations," added the APPA judges.

A bronze award was received for a unique 'fortune cookie key ring' created by Corporate Express Victoria for the Victoria Racing Club (VRC) in the category of 'APPA Supplier Product'. The key ring was produced for VIP guests who attended the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Corporate Express came up with the custom-moulded metal key ring after receiving a brief from the VRC. It featured a horse shoe shape at one end and a fortune cookie shape at the other end.

The judges were very impressed with the quality of the product and called it the perfect gift for the target audience which was predominantly women.
