MEDIA RELEASE 4 September 2006

BBX in Mariners sponsorship
ASX listed barter exchange company BBX Holdings Limited (BBX) is proud to announce a new sponsor partnership agreement with The Central Coast Mariners Football Club.

BBX has entered into a sponsorship arrangement with Australia’s premier soccer league by sponsoring The Central Coast Mariners.

The agreement was signed by John McKay, CEO of Mariners, Rick Powell, BBX National Marketing Manager and Nigel Ward, BBX Gosford Franchise owner.

The sponsorship aligns the successful BBX group with the Mariners to provide business networking opportunities, signage rights and player appearances.

This latest BBX sponsorship continues the company’s strategy of sponsoring and supporting premier Australian sports and events. BBX is also a major sponsor of the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the NRL competition and will continue its association with the Rabbitohs into the 2007 season.

BBX is a barter trade exchange that allows members to barter goods and services without using cash or credit but rather using trade dollars to assign the value to the transactions that take place between members of the exchange.

Barter is a powerful tool to not only purchase goods and services, but also to build strong business networks and provide limitless opportunities for business growth.

Members transacted $146 million in trade for the 2006 financial year and the company is the second largest barter operator in Australia, facilitating the ‘cashless’ trading of goods and services between members.

BBX now has approximately 7,000 Australian, New Zealand and Indian member businesses, with offices and/or franchises situated in all mainland states of Australia and the North and South islands of New Zealand, as well as India.

BBX can be contacted on 1800 222 229. The website is www.ebbx.com.
