BBX to sponsor Adelaide Multicultural Festival
ASX listed barter exchange company BBX Holdings Limited (BBX) is proud to announce major sponsorship for the Adelaide Multicultural Festival to be held on 28 - 29 October at Thorndon Park Reserve, Paradise South Australia.

The Festival is a showcase for multiculturalism in Adelaide with its focus on promoting a greater understanding of Australia’s diverse culture.

Activities will include food, family fun and entertainment and is a weekend not to be missed.

This latest BBX sponsorship continues the company’s strategy of sponsoring and supporting premier Australian events. For more information go to: www.adelaidemulticulturalfestival.com.au

BBX is a barter trade exchange that allows members to barter goods and services without using cash or credit but rather using trade dollars to assign the value to the transactions that take place between members of the exchange.

Barter is a powerful tool to not only purchase goods and services without using valuable cash, but also to build strong business networks and provide immense opportunities for business growth.

In essence, BBX acts as the third party facilitator and record keeper, and issues members with monthly statements, showing the purchases and sales they have made during the month. They also use plastic charge cards similar to other credit/debit cards in order to conduct business.

Members transacted $146 million in trade for the 2006 financial year and the company is the second largest barter operator in Australia, facilitating the ‘cashless’ trading of goods and services between members.

BBX now has approximately 7,000 Australian, New Zealand and Indian member businesses, with offices and/or franchises situated in all mainland states of Australia and the North and South islands of New Zealand, as well as India.

BBX can be contacted on 1800 222 229. The website is www.ebbx.com.
