New team takes over at Noble Beverages
Noble Beverages, producers of Noble's Pureau, has been acquired by food industry veteran Leo Lawrence and Finance Director Phil Mann, with strong institutional support.

Noble's Pureau is the only water guaranteed salt and bacteria free, and containing no chlorine, fluoride, potassium, dissolved solids or other nasties. It is 100 times more pure than World Health Organisation and Australian Food Authority Standards.

The Pureau range comprises PET bottled waters in 600ml, 1.5 and 2 litre sizes, as well as 5 and 10 litre casks. The products are sold through all major supermarkets, where Noble's is market leader in the 10 litre category, as well as a major player in the 5 litre size.

The new management team is currently extending the range of bottled water products to include 6 x 600 ml and 4 x 2 litre shrink-wrapped products.

Managing Director Leo Lawrence has extensive grocery experience, having worked for Procter & Gamble, White Wings and Allied Grocery Products, as well as 10 years internationally for Reckitt & Colman. He subsequently operated his own successful advertising and marketing consultancy.

Finance Director Phillip Mann has a strong corporate, financial advisory and investment banking background. Phil is the founder and Chairman of the Small Companies Exchange of Australia, a direct equity matching service and advisory firm, which has been instrumental in many fruitful mergers and acquisitions.

Leo Lawrence said that Noble's Pureau is a strong brand that presents an important and recognisable difference compared to ordinary spring waters.

“Our water is guaranteed to be the purest available on the market and every batch we produce is tested by an independent Government Accredited laboratory which provides a written report on its findings.

“As well as purity, our consumer research has found that people really distinguish Pureau's unique taste to the extent that they have very strong brand loyalty and will not buy competitors,” said Lawrence.
