Business relationship expert to speak about growing small businesses in
tough times at ABITE 09
Business relationship expert Dennis Hall will be one of the speakers at this
year's Australian Business and IT Expo (ABITE) in Melbourne on 21 and 22 August
Hall's presentation, 'Guerrilla marketing', how to grow your business in tough
economic times' will be on Friday, 21 August at 4.30 pm and also on Saturday, 22
August at 12.30pm.
"There's no doubt it's been tough times for most businesses and even though
things seem to be improving, businesses still need to play it smart," said Hall.
"The presentation will include some useful strategies and tools businesses can
employ to help them grow. One of these is barter exchange networks, like BBX,
which can help attract new customers and protect cash flow. These things can
mean life or death to a small business.
"I've been a BBX member for many years and I use it to generate additional
income by offering my coaching services to member businesses. It also helps to
keep my cash flow healthy as I use it to pay for many of my business expenses
like marketing activities, for instance brochures," said Hall.
Hall has 30 years experience in sales, marketing, training and technology and
has worked with a number of high profile companies, including Harper Collins
Publishers, QANTAS, Sheraton Hotels, Lend Lease Management and Yellow Pages
An accredited trainer and facilitator, Hall is an experienced speaker and
presenter and speaks regularly to business audiences about the challenges they
face in today's marketplace. Hall also runs two businesses, Direct Dialogue
which offers corporate and business training support, and also AusBizLinks which
provides businesses with technology and online marketing support.
