New can dispensing unit for Australian retailers
In response to a growing canned food category in Australasia, provider of marketing at retail solutions SPOS has introduced the new Max Can Dispensing Unit, keeping retail shelves highly organised while improving product visibility.

The Max Can Dispensing Unit has been developed for use primarily in the soup category and is suitable for supermarkets, convenience stores, or any retail outlets that sell canned products.

The majority of current in-store displays have cans stacked on shelves, creating gaps, empty facings and making it difficult for shoppers to reach cans.

The Max Can Dispensing Unit benefits retailers by requiring less labour as the product automatically rolls through to the front of the shelf, which means staff do not need to front up cans continually. The products are always within reach.

The system improves shelf storage capacity with one and a half times more product in one facing compared to a regular shelf.

The Max Can also improves consumers' shopping experience with canned products organised into flavour clusters. This, along with the size of the labels printed twice as large as normal, assists the consumer in quickly locating and retracting a specific flavour or brand of product.

Manufactured from recyclable High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), one Max Can Dispensing Unit holds 18 cans. The unit is 457 mm deep x 406 mm high and available in two can sizes, 79 mm x 127 mm and 86 mm x 111 mm. The standard colour of the unit is white but it is also available in black, blue and red.

SPOS is a leading provider of marketing at retail solutions in Australia and New Zealand that are designed to enhance the overall appearance of the products in-store and ultimately stimulate sales.
