MEDIA RELEASE 10 December

Fancy a 3am workout? Lane Cove welcomes 24-hour gym
There will be no excuses for Lane Cove residents not to work out during the Christmas holidays as a new 24-hour fitness club is about to open its doors in the local community.

Anytime Fitness, a convenient 24-hour fitness club franchise for men and women, will be opening a new club at 71 Longueville Road (corner of Epping Road), Lane Cove on Saturday, 18 December.

Husband and wife Luke and Chloe Johnson, owners of Anytime Fitness Lane Cove, are excited to be bringing the 24/7 gym concept to Lane Cove locals.

"Giving people the opportunity to work out anytime makes it easier for them to stay committed to their fitness goals. Whether you're an early bird, a shift worker or simply feel like jumping on a treadmill at 11 pm, the opportunity is there," Luke said.

Anytime Fitness allows members to work out any time of the day or night, even through the holiday period. Members can access a wide variety of high quality cardio, strength and free weight equipment by world leading companies such as Life Fitness and Hammer Strength as well as shower facilities.

The Anytime Fitness Lane Cove club, which is located in the same building as the head office for Anytime Fitness Australia and New Zealand, will also provide the services of personal trainers.

During non-staffed hours, the 400-square-metre fitness club will be monitored through state-of-the-art security systems including a network of CCTV cameras, personal alarms and 'tailgate alarms'.

Luke and Chloe have both been very active from a young age. Luke played for the Australian Rugby Union 7s, was a NSW Waratah's squad member and played first grade for Manly Rugby Union.

Both Luke and Chloe are looking forward to be an integral part of the Lane Cove community.

"We'll make sure residents feel comfortable and welcomed when they visit us. I am looking forward to helping people get fit and share my passion for fitness with them," said Luke, who is also a franchise consultant for Anytime Fitness.

To celebrate the Lane Cove club opening, Anytime Fitness is waiving the joining fee for all members registering before Christmas. As part of their membership, members receive a free half hour orientation. Corporate offers are also available for local businesses.

By joining the Lane Cove club, members can access any of the clubs around Australia and the world at no extra fee. So if a member works in a different area to where they live, they can visit the Anytime Fitness gym near their work at lunch time and the one near home after work hours.

Club tours will be available during the opening celebrations. Membership information is available at the club by calling 0406 797 731 or by visiting www.anytimefitness.com.au.
