New Training & OHS Manager for workplace drug testing company
Drug and alcohol testing and screening specialist Frontline Diagnostics has appointed Suzanne Price to the new position of National Training and OHS Manager.

Price's role will involve training Frontline Diagnostics' staff and clients in correct safety procedure relating to drug and alcohol testing as well as establishing policies and procedures and advising Frontline Diagnostics' clients.

Price was most recently with transport and infrastructure company Asciano in a training and safety role. Prior to that she worked in the pathology industry. Throughout her career she has received on the job training and undertaken training in safety management systems, workplace training, behavioural change and more.

"In my previous role I was on the client side of the drug and alcohol testing so I have a good understanding of the many challenges in the industry. Working in pathology also gave me some unique insights that will be invaluable in this role," Price said.

"One of my first big challenges will be to work with our suppliers, staff and clients to establish how the new Australian Standard AS 4308-2008 can be implemented appropriately. It has recently been released and we are working behind the scenes to ensure all our suppliers are ready, and that we and our clients can comply with the new framework.

"I'll be meeting as many clients as possible on their sites to make sure we conform to safety standards and I'm looking forward to it," she said.
