A Mercedes-Benz Pedal Car raises funds for local school
A Mercedes-Benz Pedal Car, donated by Morrisons Mercedes-Benz dealership in Chatswood, was auctioned at Lindfield East Primary School’s silent auction held on 9 September. Funds obtained as a result of the auction will be used to buy new playground equipment for the school.

James Schramko, General Manager of Morrisons, said participating in the Lindfield East Primary School’s silent auction is only one of the initiatives Morrisons has taken to support local schools.

“We are proud to support our local schools by donating a variety of prizes for their fundraising events. It is one of our commitments to give back to the community and as a father, I understand how important education is,” he said.

“I am happy to receive fundraising proposals from local schools and assess their needs,” James said.

Morrisons Mercedes-Benz also partnered with local school Loreto Normanhurst for the 2006 Art Union Annual Dinner held on Saturday 8 September, which raised more than $40,000.

Artarmon Public School, Roseville College and Chatswood Public School are other local schools which have benefited from Morrisons Mercedes-Benz dealership’s support. Donated items have included a voucher for the use of a Mercedes-Benz ML for a weekend, a golf bag, glasses, etc.

If you are part of a local school and would like to submit a fundraising proposal, please contact James Schramko on 9468 8888 or visit www.morrisons.com.au.
