Great time to save money buying a new car says PrivateFleet.com.au
According to Australia's biggest online car buying service, PrivateFleet.com.au, now is a great time to buy a new car because manufacturers are offering great deals on 2008 stock.

Private Fleet's Director David Lye said that the end of the year or early in the New Year is usually a great time to buy but this is even more relevant this year.

"The car industry is always keen to move stock at the end of a year but because of the recent sales decline they are severely overstocked and need to sell through to bring in 2009 models. It's a real buyer's market.

"Toyota has recently admitted that it is 40,000 vehicles overstocked and I'm sure the other major manufacturers are in a similar position. They all have cars arriving regularly from overseas that were ordered months ago and now they don't have the number of buyers they expected.

"Car dealers are also hard hit by the withdrawal of credit providers from the market and although the Federal Government has stepped in there will still be difficulties for many customers trying to borrow to buy a car.

"Interestingly the misfortune of the car industry has been to our benefit and we've experienced steady growth in our business. So while there are less people knocking on the door of their local Toyota dealer, those who do want to buy a car are coming to Private Fleet to save money," added Lye.

Private Fleet is affiliated with over 600 dealers across Australia and buys more cars than any other buying service in Australia, giving them significant buying power. On average, Private Fleet can save a customer up to 15 per cent off the dealer price.

Private Fleet also offers an after sales service for Private Fleet members with savings ranging from free roadside assistance, discounted at-home service, deals on windscreens, tyres and more.

Private Fleet can be contacted on 1300 303 181 or by visiting www.privatefleet.com.au
