The new 'efficient' forklift
As the demand for efficiency of warehouses, cold storage and manufacturing plants increases, so too does the strain on workers to make the most of their working day, to complete tasks as efficiently as possible.

The new TCM FB30-7 battery electric forklift recently launched on the Australian market has been designed with efficiency and effectiveness in mind, making it perfect for operators who need reliable, powerful equipment that will work as hard as they do.

Ross Grassick, General Manager of Lencrow Group, distributors for TCM, said that the FB30-7 forklift has a range of features which not only make the forklift run highly efficiently, but also utilise work space and make operator handling more easy.

“The FB30-7 has one of the most compact bodies in its class which allows better utilisation of workplace space.

“The low maintenance AC motor means that the forklift has a longer operation time of 8.5 hours compared to the average 6.5 hours.

“The battery power consumption is minimised by the three shift modes, which allows the speed accelerating time to be shortened by 15% so that you can get around the warehouse faster.

“The forklift has reduced travel and handling noises as well as lower floor and step heights which reduce the physical fatigue on operators.

“Shock-less lift cylinders provide easier fork handling prior to the forks touching the ground,” said Grassick.

Lencrow Group is one of Australian’s largest materials handling companies specialising in the supply of pedestrian and ride-on pallet jacks, forklifts and tailgates, as well as providing a wide range of support services including training and maintenance.
