Killara networking breakfast to raise $50,000 for MS
B2B Networking group will be hosting a fundraising breakfast for businesses to
help raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia. The breakfast will
be held at 7.30 am Tuesday, 26 May at the Killara Inn and will feature
presentations by guest speakers, Grant Hyman and Glenn Dobson.
Ticket prices for the breakfast will be $35, with all proceeds being donated to
MS Research Australia and will include a cooked breakfast and a copy of Grant
Hyman's book, Practical Guide to Selling.
Recently launched, B2B Networking aims to bring businesses together to share
knowledge and ideas and look at ways of improving business. The group hosts
regular breakfast seminars in Dee Why and Hornsby, with plans to grow to include
other Sydney areas.
"We're hoping to raise about $50,000 for MS Research Australia in total," said
B2B Networking organiser and BBX franchisee, Chris Pet.
"One of our biggest sponsors BBX trading network is donating $10,000 in BBX
trade dollars. MS Research will be able to use these trade dollars to pay for
much needed goods and services within the BBX member network.
"Apart from being a fundraiser, the seminar will be a great opportunity for
businesses. Grant Hyman and Glenn Dobson are fantastic speakers and very
knowledgeable in business," added Pet.
Author and acclaimed selling expert, Grant Hyman will discuss effective
networking skills, how to generate business leads and referrals. Glenn Dobson, a
business coach and international tri-athlete will talk about managing sales
teams and setting a sales and marketing vision.
All money raised by the event will be utilised by MS Research Australia to
commission new research projects aiming to find the cause and a cure for
multiple sclerosis. In Australia there are 20,000 sufferers of MS with most of
these being young adults.
