MEDIA RELEASE 27 October 2009

Point-of-purchase solutions provider, SPOS, received three awards in the recent POPAI Annual Marketing at Retail Awards. POPAI is a global association exclusively dedicated to the retail marketing industry.

SPOS was awarded one silver and two bronze 'Indian' statuettes.

The silver award was in the category for Automotive Dealers/Aftermarket for a floor stand display created for automotive product supplier Alemite. Alemite is a manufacturer of automotive lubricant products and wanted to replace its existing units with a functional display that helped them stand out from their competitors.

A bronze award was received in the Interactive Display Solution category for an innovative display for discount department store Target. The new display system that utilises SPOS' MTI technology allows consumer electronic products like digital cameras to be displayed, powered up and at the same time protected from theft.

The second bronze award was in the Healthcare - Medical/Pharmacy/Veterinary category for a dispenser system for veterinary supplier Merial. The dispenser for its popular Frontline veterinary product was developed for pet stores to assist customers to choose the right product for their pet.

The awards were received last week at the POPAI Awards Gala Dinner at Darling Harbour where over 500 industry professionals came together to celebrate excellence in Marketing at Retail in conjunction with the group's annual conference.

SPOS is a leading provider of point-of-purchase solutions in Australia and New Zealand that are designed to enhance the overall appearance of the products and ultimately stimulate sales.
