Boost your immunity naturally
Lifestream Natural Selenium, a new product which may help protect against cell oxidation, assist immune and thyroid functions and play a role in male and female reproductive health, has just been introduced to the Australian market.

Lifestream Natural Selenium is made from a super premium natural yeast whole food. It contains 21 different selenium compounds and has no chemicals, no binders, no preservatives, no colours, no flavours, no synthetic additives and no conflicting or negating minerals. In addition, it is 100 per cent vegetarian and highly biologically available, which means that the amount of selenium ingested is the amount of selenium absorbed.

Lifestream Natural Selenium, distributed in Australia by Planet Health, has been selected by leading health research groups in the USA for use in clinical trials. This is because the quality selenium yeast provides a broad range of organically bound selenium proteins in a natural food form.

Melinda Hunt, Planet Health's Product Development Manager and nutritionist, said an adequate amount of selenium is essential in our diet.

"Selenium is an essential mineral which our bodies cannot produce. It is found in food - brazil nuts, tuna, beef, turkey and chicken breast, eggs, cottage cheese and oatmeal," Hunt said.

"The level of selenium in food depends on the level in the soil. Australian soil is often low in selenium hence, Australian fruits and vegetables often do not contain sufficient amounts of selenium for optimal health and protection," she added.

Lifestream Natural Selenium is available at pharmacies and health food stores Australia wide at $16.95 for 30 capsules and $35.95 for 90 capsules.

Planet Health distributes only brands that meet a very high standard of quality, reputation, innovation and ethics. These brands include Australian Bush Flower Essences, Lifestream, [Al'chemy] and [A'kin] from The Purist Company, Efamol and Planet Health's own Qsilica range.
