Successful waterless car wash comes to Hawkesbury
Two Bowen Mountain residents have seized an outstanding business opportunity with a waterless car washing franchise to help environmentally conscious car owners in the Hawkesbury.

Allan Duncan joined Ecowash Mobile in June this year and manages Ecowash Mobile Hawkesbury in conjunction with Adam Stone who is also the National Franchisee Development Manager for Ecowash Mobile.

Ecowash Mobile is a waterless mobile car washing and detailing franchise system which uses a biodegradable 2-in-1 wash and polish.
After 23 years as a Police Officer, Allan wanted a change in career that offered him the opportunity to build a business that fitted in with his views on the environment.

"I've lived in the Hawkesbury area most of my life and I'm a bit of a greeny, so when I heard about Ecowash Mobile I jumped at the opportunity to be involved. It's great to be working for a company who has the same environmental views as me," Allan said.

Allan said the local response has been very positive so far and he has helped many car owners save water.

"The local response has been so good because we are fully mobile – I can visit people at their workplace or anywhere else," he said.
"My customers are amazed with the results of Ecowash – they have never seen anything that does as good a job as the Ecowash products.
"Most of my new customers approach me as I'm already washing a car to ask when I'll be able to come and wash their own cars – that's how impressed they are," Allan said.

A convenient alternative to traditional carwashes, Ecowash Mobile Hawkesbury services the areas in and around the Hawkesbury including the Blue Mountains, Castlereagh, Yarramundi, Riverstone and Putty.

The Ecowash Mobile approach uses an exclusive product range that includes a 2-in-1 wash and polish biodegradable compound. The compound is sprayed onto the car exterior, encapsulates surface dirt that is then removed with a soft cloth. The polish leaves a protective coating that lasts four to six weeks and is guaranteed not to scratch.

The complete range of products enables a full detail inside and out including leather treatment, bumper renovation and scratch removal. To ensure long lasting protection of your car, Ecowash Mobile has also introduced protection options for paint, fabric and carpet or leather.

A variety of services is on offer, from a basic waterless wash and polish right through to a full detail called an Extreme Ecowash, to suit individual car owners, car dealers, smash repairers and corporate fleets.
