From the Chairman
I could have written this piece three weeks ago, but I have managed to defer the action until now.

It is a very human instinct to put things off as long as you can, particularly if you don't know what you are going to say or do.

As we approach the new financial year, many, many managers are putting off making a decision on many important initiatives until July, or later, because they are unsure of the future.

Business confidence in the future is often a rare quality that can be spread very thinly across the community.

In public relations we are very conscious of the need for business confidence because as we move into the second half of the year, it will be the business managers who back their plans with sound public relations programs that will lift their profile in a less crowded marketplace than usual.

Public relations is very cost-effective and can bring a new dimension to your business, to drive growth by telling the world who you are and what you do.
