The DRPR team gets in the know
The DRPR team is always busy attending new courses and updating its
knowledge in the communications field. Recently:
- Jo attended a masterclass about social media marketing
- Gemma attended a PRIA course about targeting the media
- Kim and Jo got social at the recent Sydney Social Media Club event
- Nicola did a course on conducting effective meetings as well as a PRIA course
for small business finance management
- Kim and Nicola are also currently taking part in a Mastermind program through
the Australian Israeli Chamber of Commerce where like-minded business owners
discuss continuous improvement

DRPR gets blogging and Twittering Over the last few months DRPR has been getting social on Facebook, LinkedIn and
Twitter, as well as starting their own blog. The team has been sharing lots of
stories, interesting links, photos and insights.

New Client - Skydome Skylights
DRPR took on a new client, Skydome, a
supplier and manufacturer of skylight and ventilation products including Skydome,
Skytube, Skywindow and the Powervent to suit various rooms and applications.
DRPR has had some early successes for Skydome with articles appearing in
numerous Sydney suburban newspapers and a mention in Adelaide's Sunday Mail.

Dennis discovers the Red Centre
Last May, our chairman Dennis went on an adventure to the Northern Territory
where he explored Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon and more.

Kim's big trip
Kim, our account manager, will be jetting off on 24 June to attend the Public
Relations Network (PRN) international member conference in New York. Kim will
lead two seminars at the conference, one on generating new business leads and
the other on social media in PR.
PRN, of which DRPR is a member, is a
global collective of like-minded public relations specialists dedicated to
providing high level consultancy and quality local support for worldwide PR
campaigns. PRN has affiliate PR agencies based across Europe, the Americas,
AsiaPac and Australasia.
Kim will also be lucky enough to spend time with her family in Quebec, Canada
where she grew up. Kim will return to DRPR in early August.

DRPR staff let down their hair
Kim and Nicola did the Mother's Day Classic 8km fun run.
Jo and Kim went on a two-day canoe safari up the Shoalhaven Gorge in Kangaroo
Valley.
The DRPR team hit the town and enjoyed a night of dinner, drinks and dancing.
