Expanding our knowledge
Expanding our knowledge

The team at DRPR have been busy up-skilling of late.

DRPR has been running internal training sessions. Nicola ran a 'Media Coaching' session and Petra a 'Foursquare for Business' presentation which got everyone's creative juices flowing. Both sessions were also a good excuse to share a yummy breakfast together!

Gill recently completed a PRIA course called 'The Perfect Pitch' run by industry professionals offering insight into communicating with the media. The session also proved to be a great environment for networking. She also completed a 'Media Skills' course, run by the experienced media consultant Sonia Zavesky.

Petra, Nicola and Kim also completed several webinars on a variety of uses for social media within the context of PR including using Facebook for business and the future of social media.

DRPR believe that it is important to remain at the forefront of new trends within the communications industry and also the importance of team members sharing their expertise with one another.

New accounts

In recent weeks DRPR has won two new accounts. The first is Hartmann International, a worldwide provider of health care products and industry solutions with a focus on aged care, hospital and community care. DRPR will be completing a comprehensive website review for Hartmann while also focussing on building the Hartmann brand name to be an industry leader.

Anytime Fitness
Secondly, DRPR is now working with Anytime Fitness, a 24-hour fitness club franchise with 1,300 clubs around the world, including 40 clubs open with 140 territories sold in Australia and four clubs open with 15 territories sold in New Zealand. DRPR will be focussing on attracting further franchisees, launching new club locations and generally creating awareness and interest in the Anytime Fitness concept.

Getting active

Three of the DRPR team recently participated in the renowned City to Surf, which is now recognised as the largest running event of its kind in the world. Nicola, Petra and Kim all took part in the event and Kim even qualified in the top 60 of all female competitors in her age group. A great achievement by all!
