About Us
Anthia Crosby
As a child, I was once told that we have two ears and one mouth for a reason.
I think it's a great thing to be kept in mind when undertaking any form of
communication with another human being.

I have been working at DRPR since early 2007 and in this time, I've realised
that this expression is something that seems to ring true more often than I used
to think. Working in this environment has helped me see that there are many
dimensions to
communication and that it's not only about putting a message out there. It's
about two way conversations. Most importantly, we are involved in a dynamic
process that takes many forms.
I am currently doing a media and communication course and have been able to put
the knowledge I've gained into practise at DRPR. It's great to have a practical
outlet in order to develop my skills further.
For the past seven years, I spent my spare time focusing on a hobby of mine,
speech and drama. Having progressed through the various skill levels, I recently
attained my final diploma, ATCL Speech and Drama (Performing). It is an area in
which I was always able to utilise my love of language and communicating with
people and I think this translates quite well into a career in public relations.
